Scooter squeaks Bush authorized leak

So much for Scooter Libby lying down. I saw it this morning in the New York Sun. Since then the BBC, yahoo and Murray Waas, among many others, have weighed in on the media. Blogtopia has been buzzing all day of course. FireDogLake and Jeralyn had interesting takes on it.

I posted at Detroit so I'm not going to say much except there's no happy dancing going on at the Casa de Impolitic over this one. I find it incomprehensible that it's not illegal to leak NIE documents for political gain but that means Bush won't have to answer for it legally. One can only hope, "the people" will hold him to a higher standard in the court of public opinion.
