"Representative #2"

Perhaps we are finally about to see Tom DeLay get his comeuppance. The WaPo reports the Bugman's former deputy chief of staff, Tony Rudy pleaded out in the Abramoff corruption scandal and is singing like the proverbial canary. This marks the first time "an actor in the scandal has admitted to committing illegal acts while working in the Republican leadership suites of the House."
The court papers for the first time formally refer to DeLay as one of those involved in the activities under scrutiny, listing him as "Representative #2." But though the papers show that Rudy traded on DeLay's name, they do not indicate that Rudy has evidence to implicate his former boss.
It sounds iffy but then again, wasn't Ney referred to as "Representative #1" for a long time before they subpoenaed him as a player? Of course he hasn't been indicted yet either but it's early yet. This much corruption is bound to take time to sort out.
