No respect

A motorcycle cop gave an 82 year old woman a $114 ticket for failing to cross a five lane road in 20 seconds on the grounds she was impeding traffic. According to the reporter, " On Friday, the light changed too quickly even for high school students to make it across without running."

What are coming to? In the old days, the cop would have helped the old lady across the street, not given her a ticket for inconveniencing the cars.
