Pray For Us
I just read the most astounding thing. In the latest Newsweek poll, 28% of those people polled approved of the job George Bush is doing.
How is that possible? 28% is a lot for a president that is totally incompetent and out of touch with everyone but social conservatives. Oh yeah, them. Well he WAS chosen by God, wasn't he?
I do hope they're praying for us, no one needs the help more than we do.

I can't remember who said that Hitler could have staffed all his camps with recruits from just one small American town. Sometimes I think I live in that town, but although that's an extreme example, I will bet that Castro and indeed most dictators have the support of a significant number of people. I think there are millions of Russians who would welcome the return of Communism.
Perhaps that 28% simply represents the permanent level of stupidity and dementia that exists in any population.
