The mad Ms. Malkin thinks she has scored some kind of big points by "exposing" the lack of diversity of the Board of Directors at the Associated Press. Perhaps should she should have looked ar her own house before she starts concern trolling about diversity at the AP. Let's take a look at the Board of Directors of the corporation she works for. Here's the links to photos I could up come up with quickly.

Rupert MurdochSo let's do our own Malkinesque tally, shall we? Seventeen board members. Women - 0. Non-caucasian - 2, both Bush cronies. Not only does Michelle's Board of Bosses fall short on the ethnic and gender diversity scale, on the ideological tally, it couldn't be more GOP inbred.

I didn't read her article but I would imagine that her point was something like this:~ The press, the big media in general, make the objections or accusations of those that don't think exactly as they do, that all should be as diversified as they are; as "european" in worldview as they are; as liberal as they are in all ways; and those that aren't instead are,..oh,...you know the drill,...."racist",.."bigots",..."religious fanatics",.."violent",on & on, etc. So she was only pointing out pure hypocrisy.
Granted, the leftwing has intelligently roped off the whole corner of the discussion in the sense that most non-leftists being quite sensible and rational, have nonetheless found it hard to propose the fact that they would confront most issues in measured fashion so how do they respond as such without seeming defensive, or appearing that they are "learning" "new" behavior from the left. Nothing is further from the truth. Honest appraisal would perceive and report that generally their thought and behavior in no less measured than the left. If, in a situation such as Summer'09, when Congress threatened to run an un-debated non-transparent health "reform" down America's throat, extreme measures were necessary. Of course, true to form, news media did focus upon the most ignorant, the most linguistically challenged, the most sadly misled few, who were as well the extreme minority of the very many who were standing up against a fascist-style takeover of not only healthcare but of the very voice of traditional America. The media is quite invested in making look bad all people who aren't like them.Also,an "any means to achieve an end" accusation would not be accurate for this is not the same thing as the prescribed leftist/Marxist/SaulAlinsky doctrine to which this admin. and most who support it currently subscribe. They were in defense of their liberty where the left uses it to defeat American liberty, to defeat resistance to radical change, and to tactically distract from and bypass reasoned debate and measured compromise.
Sensible, reasonable Americans who know and value the basis of our methods also realize that leaving things "exactly as they are" would not be pure as originally intended as there have over the many years been many manipulations and much moderation already. Only the fringe would say that we are still in our purely original economic system. The effort is not to resist in the name of that ideal for it is not real. It is already long gone. Most know that change (healthcare and more) is needed. But America is under invasion by extreme socialistic ideas and radically leftist-fringe ideas of "progressive" society.(NO! Not by colored-skin people, ass!) Most of us just want to plead to you and ask: "Why can't you just find another country to totally undo and redo in your image? Do you need to do it here? Why do you so greatly need to do it to a country where the majority does not want the extreme radical notions you want to force upon it?"
If you are honest, really honest, you'll accept as true that many still have not woken up to the radically aggressive extreme that is the goal of this admin. If they, too, were educated to these truths you'd be way outnumbered. The only reason you're only about evenly matched right now is that about 1/3 of America is victim of the colleges, news,and entertainment media - as was your goal. It took a few decades but you succeeded. Many of us can see right through it.
