Hollow (tipped) arguments

Words have consequences. Approval of killings, explicit or implicit, encourages violence. Promoting doomsday scenarios leads to deaths. It's really that simple.

It is indeed, but the public is too simple to see it, I guess. "Death to drug dealers" Rush and "death to judges" Ann and a thousand others have been surfing on the wave of anger for way too long calling for death to Muslims and Mexicans and a whole lot in between.

I don't excuse Democratic hysteria merchants who want to ban everything from Matches to French fries, but they're usually not death merchants.

Of course economic collapse and the suffering and frustration are again emerging as a major cause of violence, public and domestic. Domestic violence is up so much locally that organizations that deal with it are overwhelmed and underfunded.

A bad economy doesn't help. Always leads to more domestic violence, but it's just irresponsible for the hatemongers to be fanning the flames of paranoia.
