So many questions

He's just trying to find the right one. Joe the Plumber, Country Singer, Pundit, Author, Charity Organizer, War Correspondent is just as awesome as I thought he would be.

Insightful, no? Via TP.

We worship the simpleton, it seems. The fool as the voice of wisdom, even as the voice of God, is in our cultural genes. Forrest Gump could have been president. Joe probably thinks he can be as well and perhaps, as the angry voice of the ignorant majority, offering simple, angry solutions for problems far too complex for the stupid, he has a chance.

Never underestimate the snobbery of the rabble.

Fogg, I couldn't agree more. So the media should have no business in a war zone, according to arch idiot, Joe the Plumber. Then why is he in Sderot? What is he doing there? If this were a true investigative journalist instead of a dumb-down poster boy for the wingnuts, one would think he would mix with the population and ask the disturbing questions, as this journalist did:

I live in the Negev and teach at the Sapir Academic College -- the school located next to Sderot -- in the heart of what is called "Qassam-land," after the rockets that fall on us. I know the fast beating of your heart and the awful pit in your stomach that comes when a tzeve adom -- red alert -- is sounded, heralding a rocket attack. I know what it is like to comfort students and colleagues when the rockets strike very, very close -- and to wish that someone was there to comfort you as well. I know what it is like to be afraid to get into the car and drive to work because you are not sure you will make it from the parking lot to your classroom alive.

But I know the answer to our conflict will not come with this war. We will know peace only when we accept the fact that the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have every right to lives of dignity.

Meanwhile, Joe the Plumber grabs headlines with his presence. It tells me that his reports are not about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but about the cult of Joe the Plumber, and the dumb-shit wingnuts who sent him there. It offends me to the core.

Time for me to return to my reef … spewing black ink.

TIDOS Yankee just about admitted today in a post that the whole farce is just a publicity scam for PJMedia and so far it's working. The media is covering Joe the Stupid Whatever he is and they're getting tons of free publicity.

Libby, exploiting the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as some kind of self-serving publicity stunt ... this strikes is immoral in the extreme. I just might pick up this story later in the week and bash those bastards.

(ink all over the aquarium ... damn!)

It is rather disgusting but try to conserve your ink. You'll be needing it again I'm afraid.

I don't want to wish Joe any harm, but if he should be caught on tape wetting himself at the sound of a car backfiring, I'm cool with that.
