Beware evil librul media. There's a new hero in town. Look! Over there! It's a plumber. No, it's a country singer. No, it's a pundit. No, it's a charity organizer. No, it's an author. No wait, it's Joe the War Correspondent!
Joe the Plumber, after many false starts has finally found the path to the American dream. He's heading over to Israel under the banner of PJ Media's video division to ferret out the real story in the Gaza. He's slated to deliver interviews with the average Joes off the streets of Tel Aviv, or something.
Brilliant. Can't wait for him to bring his high standards of professionalism to citizen journalism. I bet the MSM is quaking in its boots now.
Update: Normally I wouldn't link to PJMedia, but the comments at the post announcing Mr. Plumber's new assignment are too precious to miss. My fav is this one. "Yeah . . . the media will be forced to cover what’s never been covered . . . simply because Joe the Plumber is signing off his report somewhere near Gaza. I love this!" Apparently the PJ fan base actually believes that Joe will singlehandedly defeat the MSM. You really can't parody this stuff.

The right wing that foolishly tells us Bush will be remembered as a great and visionary president tries to sell another idiot. Somebody tell Joe the faux plumber not to taake the job and pay raise because he will have to pay more taxes.
I was wondering if they were paying him under the table so he wouldn't have to declare the income. Or maybe he has an offshore account by now.
