The Pop In The Boston Pops
Last night I went to a fight and a Boston Pops concert broke out. Well, I wasn't actually there, but there was a fight. Now, that's my kind of culture.
Perhaps it was just an impassioned discussion about the appropriateness of a domestic merlot in contrast to an Australian shiraz. Perhaps it was just an MD 20/20 smackdown.
Ben Folds was the the featured performer so perhaps it was just a discussion on whose rendition of the always popular "Bitches Ain't Shit!" was most culturally apropos. I for one like Ben Folds version but there was obviously at least one Dr. Dre fan in attendance.
It's about time they some "pop" in the Boston Pops.
