I posted on the "big revelation" that Armitage was Novak's source on Plame, here at the Detroit News. Tempest in a teapot. I don't have much more to say on the subject but if you missed it, check out Media Matters excellent roundup of the false spin surrounding the story in the major media outlets.

I think both sides read alot into this that ended up being untrue, for every conspiracy theory about karl rove, there was one about joe wilson by the right. many justifying the leak istelf as neccasary to expose "nepotism" or some such nonsense.
I disagree Lester. It was no conspiracy theory. The Plame leak was a serious breach of security for political reasons. If not for the GOP controlled Congress, the unholy alliance in the White House would have done the perp walk by now.
