Following up on this story, the latest rumor is the real Mr. Bridge to NoWhere, Ted Stevens (R-AK), put the anonymous hold on the porkbuster bill currently stalled in the Senate. How unsurprising. Smart money has been on him right along.

That's somehow related to a project that is tracking down the pork barrel earmarks at the receiving end. The first contributor unearthed a lobbyist connection to a large award made to a glaucoma foundation that smacks of payola. It looks like a good project for anyone with the time and inclination to do investigative work.

Yep, my money was on the heartless bastard from the get go. He is evil standing on two feet.
And the surprise is, that it was a Republican. The modern day GOP's hypocrisy literally knows no bounds.
Yeah, he's a piece of work all right. Oddly, you have to give the right wingers some credit for exposing him. They really got the ball rolling with this Porkbusters project.
