The forgotten victims

Away from the coast and the photo-ops where the press corps rarely treads, are thousands of hurricane victims who have been without power, food supplies or other essentials for a over a week. They haven't heard from a soul in the government but they are helping each other.

We paid 38 billion tax dollars for homeland security and all we got was a lousy 400 page rulebook and a lot of desperately hungry Americans.
