Obama bytes back

Finally, some push back against The Villagers I can believe in. Robert Gibbs:
So, you know, there’s a conventional wisdom to what’s going on in America via Washington, and there’s the reality of what’s happening in America.

In response to another question about Obama’s scheduled rally: “We’ll get to measure whose questions were better over the course of the day — the voters of Elkhart or the reporters of Washington.”
There's more at the link. And then there's this dig at Hannity. Harry Reid even took a flying run and sacked Heath Shuler with a killer football analogy today. I'm afraid to hope it will last long enough to change the media narrative, but it's a start.

Update: At least one of the favored few on Air Force One, seems to be taking it well. Meanwhile, Michelle Obama is winning over establishment DC with her own goodwill tour.

Looks like we got two for one with Michelle. Couldn't be happier.

I saw the jibe at Hannity earlier. Good stuff!

Yes, yes, yes.

This all should have started weeks ago, but better late than never!

DLB, I was thinking the same thing. Michelle is going to be a kick ass First Lady.

Brian, I agree he never should have even tried to stupid bipartisan comity schtick on the stimulus bill, but the push back now is rather impressive to me.
