I might have thought he did this deliberately as a subtle way to bring up his POW experience once again but McCain looks unaware of the mistake. Clearly Ms. Palin and daughter Meghan caught it, if the simultaneous wince is any indication.



If the stakes weren't so high, and if he hadn't become such a sadly diminished man since the convention, it would be funny.
