Mukasey deal not sealed yet - Updated

Via Avedon I see that Mukasey's confirmation is not necessarily a done deal yet. Rumor has it that there's some dissent building in the ranks and even a possible filibuster. TPM started a a handy chart to track where your Senators stand.

My two useless GOPers are surely going to vote for confirmation but I dropped them an email anyway telling them I thought it was a bad idea. As I said over at the Detroit News, torture is not an American value and I expect my elected representatives to make that clear to our Madman in Chief.
