Media Bytes - Wishful Thinking edition

I haven't slept in two days so I'm done for the day but here's a couple of bytes to chew on until tomorrow.
In case you missed it on Sunday, there was a delightful exchange between DNC Communications Director, Karen Finney and her RNC counterpart on Chris Matthews show. Finney made mincemeat out of the GOP mouthpiece. I've never heard of her before but she did a great job of knocking down the deceitful talking points.
Meanwhile, C&L resurrected this cheery screen capture from May. I remember when it happened. For 12 seconds, I had real hope. It felt good.
