The distinct results of Pelosi's trip
The war of the words continues between Jeffrey Hayden and myself at the Detroit News blog. Here's my latest salvo. I think I'm winning. For one thing, he's had to resort to questioning my intelligence and for another, my critics in the comment gallery are unusually quiet.

in a way he might havea point. if that GOP contingent was sent to quitely resolve the situation, it would have been lame if pelosi had gone, made a big show of it and stole his thunder.

With any other president I might have agreed you Lester, but not this one. In any event, it was a good debate. I won, but I gave him the last word and sent him a thank you note.
BTW, how do you manage to get all the cool wv's?
