First - eliminate the earmarks...

Read this and then tell me that earmarks aren't at the root of the corruption in our government. When towns have to spend their local tax dollars to hire lobbyists to get the Beltway politicios to fund their projects, there is something desperately wrong with the system.

The lobbyists are making money. The politicians are getting their kickbacks and the taxpayer is simply getting screwed.

there is a bill that would put all the spending info on line, but it was killed. a goodreason to vote democrat would be to revive this piece of legistlation.

I'm sure ron is too. the more the dems look lke they are winning, the more I worry about their republican-lite levels of corruption. The fact is, these people look at themselves as entrepenours not public servants
