Time to do some weekend housecleaning of all these links so I can delete some of these holding files. Starting with some news, the banksters are back to their old tricks. I continue to think a few well placed indictments would do more to change "business as usual" inside the Beltway and everywhere else in the world.
Insurance execs admit privately a public option wouldn't hurt them all that very much. Have a longer post on this at DetNews.

Jake Tapper is a very proud new papa. Say hello to Jack Raymond Tapper, 9 lbs 10 oz. His sister Alice is adjusting to the competition from a new sibling.
Via Virgotex a gorgeous timewaster. Appears to be from Finland. Reminds me of the Marimeko line of clothes that were popular in the 60s.
I'm not a big action movie fan, but this trailer for 2012, a new disaster movie just blew me away.
This may be old, but I've never seen it and it was pretty cool, especially the last picture. The Invisible Man. Guy paints himself to blend into the scenery.
And this is definitely the pix of the day. Destroyed a camera lens to get this shot of the Shuttle launch. Sometimes technology astounds me.
