Spocko For the Win

My hero Spocko, relentless warrior against the hate jockeys of wingnuttia, scored a big win for our side.
Last week Beach Blanket Babylon and LifetimeTV agreed to stop advertising on KSFO.

The removal of their ads was prompted by letters that I sent at the end of July. (Link to Beach Blanket Babylon letter here) I documented the host's verbal attacks on gay rights activists.
Good work. And he did it alone. In related news, after a co-ordinated campaign where some 45,000 people contacted advertisers, Glen Beck loses for his racist screed the other day.
Three companies who run ads during Glenn Beck — NexisLexis-owned Lawyers.com, Procter & Gamble and Progressive Insurance — today distanced themselves from Beck. LexisNexis has pulled its advertising from Beck and says it has no plans to advertise on the program in the future. Both Procter & Gamble and Progressive Insurance called the Beck advertising placements an error that they would correct.
Maybe he'll lose a few more for this bit of insanity. And of course, the biggest gasbag who really needs to be deflated RushBlows could use a dose of that medicine too. Not that I expect anyone to touch that sacred bull-shitter.
