Glitz and glamour

Yes, it's that time of year again already. The annual self-adoration fiesta known as the White House Correpspondent's Dinner is coming up. It's gets glitzier and more irrelevant every year and Dan Froomkin notes this year will be no better. The NYT will be sending their regrets again this year, in response to its ever increasing suckitude.

Meanwhile Dan has some suggestions for improving the event that the organizers might want to take to heart. Not that I expect them too. But bless Dan for trying. He is quite possibly the last remaining honest voice able to break through the vapid chatter of the Village elite.
