They won't think about that today...
Adventures in denial. The brass at MSNBC, in their profound wisdom, ordered their producers to ignore Jon Stewart's show. They apparently were hoping that no one noticed Jon Stewart's journalistic achievement in exposing Cramer's manipulation of the markets. Too late for that. I guess they realized it, because it's now sort of featured on the MSN home page. Waiting to see if Olbermann or Maddow will talk about it. I have more on that at DetNews.
Meanwhile, the GOPers, along with eight Democrats plan to filibuster climate change. Yeah, that will work. Maybe if they ignore it, it will just go away. "The eight Democratic senators who signed on to the letter are Robert Byrd (WV), Blanche Lincoln (AR), Ben Nelson (NE), Evan Bayh (IN), Mark Pryor (AR), Bob Casey (PA), Carl Levin (MI), and Mary Landrieu (LA)."
Put them on the list of Dems that need serious primary challenges.

Still haven't watched it all. From what I saw, Cramer was very contrite; quite a change from Mad Money. CNBC needs a warning label: "following our advice may cause financial distress."
Really. Or they could have a disclaimer - for entertainment purposed only. If you call that entertaining. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me.
I had to laugh at CNN's fair and balanced understatement that "Many people" thought Stewart came out on top. No shit.
All I can say is that if there really is a hereafter where I have to answer for my doings, I hope to hell it's only God asking and not Jon Stewart.
It was like watching Manolete with a three legged bull. Poor pathetic Cramer never had a chance and looked as dumbfounded and helpless and surprised as anyone who just had his watch, wallet and underpants handed to him by a magician -- what the hell could he do but mutter something about being a bad boy and promise to do better next time?
Cramer couldn't get out the first syllable of any excuse or prevarication before his entrails were handed to him in a bucket -- washed, boiled, battered and fried like chitlins. What could he do but stammer and smile?
John Stewart -- the best TV journalist -- ever.
Jon Stewart, the ONLY real journalist in the industry at the moment.
I think we could refer to these eight as 'power tools'. Assholes.
True enough Kvatch.
