Bush's last address

Well, Bush delivers his final address to the nation tomorrow. I like the final part. Is it just me, or has he spent more time on media avails in the last three weeks than he has in the last eight years in this last ditch effort to rewrite his legacy?

Not that the propaganda seems to be sticking. Independent assessments keep focusing on those pesky liberally biased facts. TMV posts a good one in the form of a 157 word LTE. Meanwhile, Dan Froomkin posts a few hundred words of his own and collects a wide range of other equally dour reviews.

However, I was most interested in this item from Froomkins column.
In a departure from previous farewell addresses, however, Bush will employ one of his favorite public-relations tactics: Human props. Perino said Bush would speak before a small audience including "courageous people" Bush has met with during his eight years in office -- and to whom he will presumably offer shout-outs.
How Palinesque. I wonder if he'll invite that grammar school class he was reading My Pet Goat to on 9/11?

I thought maybe he would give up the PR blitz and just come out and say "screw all of you."
