Bush declares DC emergency

Anticipating millions of jubliant citizens to descend on the nation's capitol to celebrate the incoming President, Bush declared an emergency in DC. The premise being that it will allow the government to tap into FEMA funds for the additional security.

I'm thinking Bush is more concerned the citizenry will be heaving shoes at his departing helicopter along with a collective sign of relief as he finally exits the national stage. Hell, the air displacement from that might well cause a wind shear that knocks that chopper out of the sky.
