McCain cracking under the strain?
I don't know quite what to think of this.
It's not that he misspeaks, it's that it took so long for him to notice and he can't seem to find the right syntax to recover from the mistake. I sensed some vague confusion, as if he was struggling to remember the right words. I find it somewhat alarming.

Libby, we are all cracking under the strain. No kidding. I am sooo damn tired of the vulgar and narcissistic way we conduct our public business. Imagine, in just two short weeks, we will all be asking ourselves: What to blog about next?
He is cracking, and if he gets this bad from the campaign, how unpredictable will he be as president in a REAL stressful situation. He has gone completely around the bend. And OctO, when in doubt, blog some good ol' rock and roll.
Octopus, I can't wait for it to be over. I am very tired of this race. We'll have plenty to blog about. Politicians will still be running the government and I'm sure they're going to piss us off.
Hey Brian. Good to see you. That's what alarms me. I don't think McCain has the stamina to hold the office and I actually worry that he's going to stroke out in the next two weeks. I don't want him to be president, but I certainly don't want him to die from trying either.

Not meaning to be callous, it is an occupational hazard McCain brought upon himself. And maybe merciful too.
