John McCain: Traitor or Moron?

John McCain exposed himself as a fellow traitor to the US constitution with this response to the US supreme court decision on Guantanamo Bay detainees.
If you want to be President of the United States, it's about goddamn time you started acting like one instead of a too old Alzheimer's patient who can't make up his mind. Our country needs leadership, not another two bit oil whore like the current megalomaniac. And part of that leadership, indeed the most important part of that job, is to uphold the constitution that this country has depended upon and grown successfully under for over 200 years.
You don't understand the economy, you don't have a clue about the needs of poor and working class Americans, you publicly change your stance on issue after issue and don't even realize it, and now you have publicly said that you support violating the law as set forth in the US constitution. You also seem to believe that you are better equipped to interpret the constitution than the justices that have been appointed to do so. That's not called being presidential, John, that's called being a traitor and a moron.

"The United States Supreme Court yesterday rendered a decision which I think is one of the worst decisions in the history of this country," McCain said to applause from a crowd of supporters in New Jersey.No John, the first obligation of our government and of it's president, as stated in the oath of office. is to uphold the constitution of the United States in all instances. And the function of the Supreme Court is to make judgements based on their reasonable interpretation of that document. That's the law. It doesn't change depending on which country our current enemy comes from or what warfare techniques they choose to employ.
"Our first obligation is the safety and security of this nation and the men and women who defend it," he continued. "This decision will harm our ability to do that."

Those who disagree with you are now Alzheimer ridden and oil whores? Why don't you read the dissent? Also, take a peak at the WSJ's lead editorial yesterday. You can do that if I suffered throught the NYT's lead editorial. There can be more than one OPINION in this country, if I'm not mistaken. Generally, for liberals, the Constitution is only a great doucment when it meets their goals. When it does not, it becomes that document that a bunch of grumpy, white men wrote.
McCain is such a moron that I'm finding it hard to believe he's doing so well in the polls. It must be people don't see these statements, and just rely on the old media meme that he's Mr Straight Talk.
Opinion is defined as having little or no factual basis. There is only one law.
What I would call someone willing to set aside the law because of fear is a coward -- but that's the basis of the Republican "base" isn't it? Fear of immigrants, fear or terrorists, fear of anyone offending God -- fear.
Dick, I didn't say everyone who disagrees with me is alzheimers ridden or oil whores. I said flip flop McCain acted like an alzheimers patient who can't make up his mind what he believes, which he does. And I only called Bush an oil whore although his entire administration seems to have their panties down just like he does. I read the dissent. Those 4 justices simply follow the Bush crap and probably always will no matter what the issue. And you are wrong Dick, I support the constitution even when it hurts. Thats what a patriot is supposed to do.
