Bad medicine

By Libby

I'm a mess today folks. I spent yesterday going to and recovering from a visit with the doctor and barely blogged at all. Such as it is, I have a couple of posts at Newshoggers and a new one at The Detroit News.

Meanwhile, I slept too soundly, probably because of the double dose of tranqs to get through the doctor thing so my back is out and I have to go help out at work for a few hours this afternoon. Not to mention I'm freaking out because my doctor blithely tells me I might have a cancerous tumor but they sent me home without scheduling the appointment with the specialist. It's never good for a confirmed hypochondriac like me to hear there might be something really wrong. I expect posting will be light today.

I don't know what to say, but I hope they're wrong as they so often are.

He's most probably wrong Fogg. He's a worse alarmist than me. But he shouldn't have told me. Harvey never would have said that. But then again Harvey was my doctor for 25 years.

To be fair. I'm a classic no show and the new doc doesn't really know me. He was probably just trying to make sure I would follow up on the appointment.

Anyway, I'm feeling kind of zen about it now. But thanks for the kind thought.
