Boos historically drown out cheers, because the booers are the angrier ones. Definitely heard cheers as well, though. Also, it's proof of nothing other than his 33% approval rating. The fact that you had an orgasm over it - well, that's an entirely different story.

Seems you have an odd idea of what an orgasm is - probably de rigeur for a wanker. Haven't you noticed the irony (and fallacy) in dismissing arguments with accusations of anger while taking on a dishonest title including the word "Anger?"

Conflating me with your jury-rigged stereotypes won't earn you anything but further mockery, although I'm sure you'll continue to hear cheers. You imagine things, you hear things, you pretend to be things, you mock the humans from your filthy ape cage. But of course that's only because of your 1% approval rating, isn't it, which means you're doing a heckuva job playing to the peanut gallery you wish actually existed. Just who do you think your audience is?

So what does the 30% approval rating indicate that makes you so proud to be in the lunatic fringe? And, by the way have you figured out what African country you're pretending to come from today? Indiana?

But keep it up. Meet it is I set it down - a man can lose and lose and lose and think himself a winner. You and George are so alike.

Damned Peace-lovin' Commies...

We should all be ashamed...

...and apparently, we are.

Had the crowd been cheering, I'm sure Bush would have spent a few moments on the mound waving and smiling. As it was, he turned and threw that pitch as fast as he could so he could get off the field as fast as he could. I'm amazed he agreed to do that at all.

As for the laughable AAA, none of us cares to hear his drivel so feel free to just delete him, Cap'n.

He's not worth deleting. It actually breaks me up that anyone is trying to find enough good in Bush to outweigh his other deeds - and more so is pretending to be more than the intellectual equivalent of a Rhesus Monkey.

Thinking about it I don't remember any president being booed under similar circumstances, but then I don't watch a lot of Baseball.

People cheered Idi Amin too, of course - and every other madman ruler or leader or Commander Guy.

Be grateful you live in a country where we all have the freedom to boo the president. And write nasty things about him on the internet. Remember, it was only 90-odd short years ago that Eugene Victor Debs was sent to jail for criticizing WWI. Oh that Woodrow Wilson was just NOT tolerant of dissent!

It is also a well established fact that human infants regard the aroma of their own feces as pleasurable. Fortunatly, most infants grow into potty trained adults and engage in more mature pleasures like orgasms, in a manner of speaking. It is regretable that we still get comments from fecalphiles.

I was surprised he did it myself. After what happened to Cheney the last time, they had to have known that he would get booed.

AAA, that was an idiotic statement. You say that as if Bush is somehow responsible for us having those freedoms. The bastard has done everything he possibly can to strip them away from us one by one. He's a traitor and anyone who still insists on defending him is a fool

Glad yes, but grateful? Why should I be grateful when it's a guaranteed and natural right guaranteed by a constitution that has been kicked around, trimmed, abridged and abused by this administration? Our rights are not granted by the government, the government is subject to our sovereignty and that goes for Commander Guys and Warpresidents and Deciders. Wilson got his share of boos, if you remember.

Expatbrian - your little response is as good an example of Bush Derangement Syndrome as I've ever seen. I cannot begin to see how my comment could be construed to argue that BUSH HIMSELF is responsible for the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. Your ilk is insistent that Bush has stripped us of all sorts of rights (which ones I have yet to figure out), but the 1st Amendment is a legal protection against him or any other president, etc., from, among other things, turning the guns on the booers. Based on the 1st Amendment, it's actually amazing that Debs was sent to jail, but I guess that was really 90 LONG years ago.

Now, I expect from one of you assholes a long diatribe about all of the rights that are now gone. If you really think Dick Cheney, or some government bureaucrat, is listening into your telephone conversations with your neighbor or you Aunt Mary, go ahead and believe it. I know, it is awfully hard to believe that the government would actaully be tracking calls coming from suspected terrorists from OUTISDE the U.S. Some day you'll get it.

Oh, and by the way, I don't defend Bush at all costs. Indeed, I sometimes think I should have supported McCain in the 2000 primaries. But you people are so off the deep end that you call him McBush and are just stunned at the stupidity of anyone who supports any republican anywhere. You basically can't even tolerate Hillary. I'm sure Kim Jing Il would be glad to welocome you, and then kill you, after you boo him.

A sort diatribe. I have a close friend who attended a demonstration protesting attempts by the Bush administration to sell off national park land to developers. During the protest, she was photographed and ID'd. Thereafter, she has never been able to pass trough an airport without a personal body search. My friend is an employee of the State of Florida.

So the next time you call someone in this forum an "asshole," look in the mirror and restate your question. ASSHOLE!

When you're out of arguments, call him liberal - right?

"I'm sure Kim Jing Il would be glad to welocome you, and then kill you, after you boo him. "

Well isn't that a special bit of misspelled hyperbole? It would make it hard for anyone to argue that you're not possessed of some kind of Liberal Derangement Syndrome, but then anyone who will argue that I must be wrong because I'm angry or that crime isn't crime if someone else did it too, shouldn't expect a lot of credibility. It's you bragging about being angry, not me.

The facts don't agree with you and I'd call it irrational Bushlove syndrome if the word horseshit didn't fit better. You are obviously so outraged at any patriotic reaction to the outrages of DHS or the Justice Department or the White House that you're as irrational with rage as you are selectively misinformed by some freaky fanatical fringe element.

Yes, they sure as hell are tapping millions and millions of phone calls ( all from the hundreds of millions of suspected terrorists no doubt) and they're doing it in violation of the law. Your phone, your e-mails, your bank records, the names and addresses of people you write to and who write to you are all being compiled and even library reading lists are fair game without probable cause or court approval - even secret court approval. Deny it all you like. No one expects anything else from a phony African, but this is my country and you're not going to cheer tyrants with special powers without being called an enemy of America.

It's been documented and testified to by the technicians who implemented it, the firefighters and mail carriers who were asked to spy on you and threatened if they mentioned it. If they hadn't broken any laws, why would the government insist that the Telecomms be given immunity?

Really, if there's any denial of reality, it's coming from you. Ignorance seems to be your only argument; my disgust with your ignorance your only defense.

They sure as hell have redefined the Bill of Rights as things to be waved by Presidential Fiat. Laws, treaties and subpoenas as things to laugh at and ignore. Bush sure as hell has arrogated the right to ignore the law and has even signed a bill in a form Congress hadn't passed. Small thing? No smaller than your willful, smug and self satisfied ignorance of what's going on. As of yesterday, property rights and environmental laws can be ignored by DHS to "fight terrorism" and terrorism can be defined in any damned way they like and your elected representatives can go fuck themselves if they ask questions - or is that a Liberal Myth too?

Who do we blame it on if not Bush? Where does the buck stop if not with Bush? Where did the useless nightmare of Iraq begin if not with Bush, his fabricated intelligence, his illegal punishment of all opposition?

Don't give me that crap about being grateful we can still boo the president. The President should be grateful, he's the employee, not us. You really have no argument at all save for your dull minded little foot stamping hissy fits.

I think too much of this country to let it stay in the hands of the hoodlums in charge and that includes your pretentious, half educated and mediocre self with your cheap fallacies, deceptive analogies; your canned and yes, deranged arguments.

Stop pretending you're not the fringe element.

I'm currently teaching two classes in Argumentative Writing and Debate. There are several fallacies (unreasonable or unsupportable debate tactics) that I teach and AAA, in this one comment section is guilty of nearly all of them. He was missing the one on personal attacks until he said FAGG. Not only are you historically ignorant AAA, your argument is fallacious. At the risk of using a fallacy myself, you're obviously a moron.
