Bush pines for romance of war

If you could sum up the imaginary courage of the 101st Fighting Keyboardists in just a few words, this quote from a recent teleconference would pretty well do it.
I would say more, but Sadly, No seems to have it covered.

"I must say, I'm a little envious," Bush said. "If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed."Ah yes, the roar of the Humvees, the stirring staccato of the dropping bombs, the sweet smell of pooled blood around the broken bodies lying in the gutters... could there be a more powerful aphrodisiac for those who are doomed by unhappy circumstance to only cheer from afar? And dammit, they would be right there if not for that oil change they have scheduled next week and geez, they still have a whole month's worth of episodes of "24" they missed while they were on vacation and haven't found time to watch because they're so busy, furiously pounding out the justifications for the carnage from the safety of their computer stations.
"It must be exciting for you ... in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger. You're really making history, and thanks," Bush said.
I would say more, but Sadly, No seems to have it covered.
