Nice to be able to give credit where credit is due for a change. Wolf Blizter actually calls out Rep. Charles Boustany (R-LA), on his power-point induced hallucinations on the "progress" we're allegedly making in Iraq. Blitzer not only counters the false allegations about a decrease in civilian deaths but forces Boustany to admit the only reason he could safely walk the streets of Fallujah is because he was in the company of “a platoon of Marines.”
More of this kind of journalism please.
Meanwhile, Crooks and Liars has the video of Cheney's official apologist, Mary Matalin, melting down when confronted by the usually useless Bob Shrum on her spurious attempt to tar the Democrats. Our "serious" pundit is so put out, she throws her pen across the table.
Of course to be fair, maybe it just flew out of her hand because she got so dizzy from her own spin.
