Stray thoughts
By Libby
Man, there's so much news but I can't see the screen anymore. It's a work week and I didn't sleep last night so I'm done for the day. If you want to know what's on my mind, I had some thoughts for Andrew Sullivan and finally got around to giving Detroit the lowdown on Libby.

Libby: Clicked on your Detroit link. Might be time to brush up on your Machiavelli. The Florentine political philosopher stressed AMORALITY in the pursuit of power. That would be neither moral nor immoral, stressing neither right nor wrong. Indeed, naked self interest is key to the successful intrigues of the prince. I guess the fine points of Kristol's commentary eluded you. Hey, it was worth a cheap anti-neocon shot though, no? Self-interested behavior is life affirming, collectivist morality -- and moral denunciations -- death inducing. But we already covered your ideological bent in our immigration go 'round. Still waiting for your response....Can you take a time out from your side job as a legal analyst?
