Update: It looks like that "man of the people" moment didn't work out so well. Here's a poll that puts Bush at a 28% approval rating.

Somehow it came across more like a typical act of Bush condescension. It's not that he can't dance - I can't either, for what that's worth - but the more he tries to act like "the man of the people" the more it's obvious that he isn't.
