Money changes everything
Kos just posted 26 rules for posting diaries. One of the rules is essentially, don't diss Democrats. Worse yet, that's just the beginning. There will be more rules. Hot on the heels of his nationwide admission that he cares nothing about ideology and only cares about winning, I think it's a sad day for the honest and open public dialogue that has been the rule in Bloglantis until now.
At the moment and with due respect to the many fine and well researched diaries on the site, I'm having a hard time discerning the difference between Kos and PJM -- well except for their readership. It feels like they're both on the fast track to become one more tentacle of the MSM.

So. No calling Daddy a sexist male chauvinist pig, anymore, hunh?
It's a sad day for the blogosphere Hubris. They're becoming what we were supposed to be fighting against.
But I think they're overreaching and their numbers belie their effectiveness. Having a lot of groupies is great for the ego and the wallet but I think their influence on public opinion is waning.
Kos has become rich and famous but I just read somewhere on a winger site, so I don't know if its true, but they said none of the candidates he backed, won their races. Read into that what you will.
