Serving up Justice - Texas style

This is an ingenious defense plan. DeLay succeeded in having probably the only (at least marginally ) uncorrupted judge in all of Texas removed from his criminal case. In a bizarre twist, the second judge that ordered the first judge removed, has been successfully removed at the request of prosecutor Ronnie Earle. The second judge didn't even bother to object, and simply recused - no doubt because his conflict of interest was so painfully apparent.

If the court has to now find an uncorrupted judge in Texas, to oversee DeLay's conspiracy and money laundering trial, we may all be waiting until hell freezes over for the proceedings to start. If dodging the law was an Olympic sport, DeLay would be a gold medalist.
