Karl Rove - Tax dodger
WaPo reports that Rove, along with numerous unnamed members of Congress (and what do you want to bet a lot of them are GOP), have been illegally receiving tax breaks on their DC residences. Rove agreed to pay the back taxes and claims he didn't know the law had changed.
Leaving aside that you would think a man of his position in the government would make it his business to be familiar with the laws, it would appear his moral compass had long ago lost its needle in any event. It seems he has been taking a tax deduction on his residence in Texas as well.
Any idiot knows that you can't claim 2 primary residences. Not to mention the alleged residence he uses in Texas is a rental shack in the country somewhere that no one in town has even seen him visit, much less live in.
These are "value-based" leaders at work.

And what will it hurt Roebbels to cough up $3,300 in taxes? A pittance for him.
