BuzzFlash posts a link to a unauthorized video made in Falluja shortly after civilians were first allowed back into the city. It's a gut wrenching view that you didn't see on CNN, much less Fox. I didn't make through the whole 18 minutes. It was too painful. What a waste.
As I recall Falluja was going to be the Big One. The mission that would destroy the insurgents once and for all. I said at the time this lame-brained strategy of blanket destruction would feed rather than quell the insurgency. You don't have to be a military genius to figure out an adversary that has nothing left to lose will fight all the harder.
I take no pleasure from being right.
