CIA corruption leads to indictment

It appears the White House strategy of shooting the messengers by purging the US Attorney's offices of AGs that actually did their jobs and exposed Republican malfeasance has failed. Former No. 3 official at the CIA, Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, is expected to be indicted at any moment along with Brent Wilkes who was instrumental in the downfall of now jailed Republicrat Duke Cunningham.

This may only be the beginning. As Down With Tyranny points out, at least two dozen GOP congressmen were on the receiving end of goodies from these two. I hope they all go down in this scandal.

Meanwhile, it would be nice if the blowback from this was a greater scrutiny on Al Gonzales' wrongful termination of the several AGs who were pursuing corruption cases against GOP crooks and liars, allegedly on the grounds of performance. Considering at least 5 of them had received postive performance reviews prior to their abrupt dismissals, one suspects the problem was they were doing their jobs too well for the GOP's comfort.

Now you know why they vote along "party lines". It's funny, how people still vote Republican (not that the Dems are any better).

They're all the same Romunov. I suspect if we indicted every politician on the take, they would be nobody left in office. But still we need to root out the worst offenders.
