Say it with eCards

I've always loved cards. In my pre-internet days I spent a lot of money and time shopping for them. I never missed an opportunity to send out just the right one to my friends and family. However, the cards got too expensive and there were too many demands on my time so I fell out of the habit. But then, in what I consider one of the greatest modern day miracles, the internet invented eCards.

I love eCards. I'm always on the lookout for new companies and egreetings.com is one that I just discovered offering free funny eCards. They feature a wide assortment of funny and animated cards and they're a lot edgier than most. Many are downright risque but I liked the topical ones best.

Two of my favorites are politically themed. Don't be fooled by the title on this one. Love Democratic Style is definitely more appropriate for your right wing friends, who I'm sure will love the imagery of Nancy Pelosi as a dominatrix. But not to neglect the progressives on your list, the W card featuring a duet by Bush and Rove will amuse the leftie in your life.

The site does offer free cards but to get access to the full complement of their collection, you need to sign up for a yearly subscription for only $13.99, which seems reasonable enough considering the savings of time and money over the traditional hand held cards and postage. Even better and just in time for Valentine's Day, you can sign up first for a free 30 day trial that allows you to send unlimited eCards and all the other benefits of the site.

All eCards can be personalized with a message and pictures and users can schedule eCards to arrive on a specific date, so it's possible to personalize a birthday or Valentine eCard whenever and schedule it to be sent immediately or on the exact date you choose. They offer cards for every possible holiday or occassion from anniversaries to Bastille Day and a large number of categories just for fun.

So what are you waiting for? Valentine's Day is just two days away. Go over to egreetings.com and check it out.

lol. I fucking hate valentines day. Not only am i always single, but I work at a cookie store and valentines day is the day we suddenly go from being a 4 or 5 person operation working at our lesiure to a ten person operation working like dogs. and it's freezing out, so i get to get in and out of my car all day, i'm the delivery guy, and probably catch pnemonia.

this is defiately your best topic ever and most relevent

LOL Lester. Theoretically I'm supposed to get paid for posting that one. I need an additional income stream and you get to pick what you pitch. It actually does look like a good card shop.

But I do hate Valentine's Day myself. Too much pressure. I actually like better now that I'm single. But they do have anti-Valentine's cards too. Click over and check it out anyway. It will probably boost my rating with the payperpost folks.

I called my friend to help us out with the driving. he agreed to take the day off from his other job because he likes the driving around. but he had to reschedule a veteranarian however you spell it appointment. so i had to meet him somewhere and give him 60 dollars so he could go the day earlier. and he has to borrow my bosses car because he doesn't have one. It's like real professional people putting this together! so no way it can go wrong

and now there is supposed to be some horrible snow storm.

Yikes Lester. It doesn't sound like any fun but I think I just heard the storm isn't going to hit Boston so you'll probably be okay on the weather at least.

Good luck.
