Anne Romney hates the media
So this didn't get much attention. At Romney's victory speech last night, a reporter for The Economist was briefly handcuffed and detained for daring to listen to Romney in real time through an open door. "She left the press filing room when she realized that the televisions in the room were showing the candidate’s speech on a tape delay."
You have to wonder why they didn't have a live feed into the press room in the first place. Hard not to suspect it was to prevent them from hearing any potential verbal gaffes. And with Willard, there's always a great potential for that. But this could also explain it:

There have been tensions between the campaign and members of the press after the candidate’s wife, Ann Romney, accused some reporters of wanting to see President Barack Obama re-elected.Mrs. Romney getting rather feisty these days. Beginning to think that poor old Willard has been subjecting himself to the humillation of running for president more because of her ambition to be FLOTUS than his own desire to hold the office himself.
“I am so mad at the press [that] I could just strangle them!” she recently told The National Review.
"And, you know, I think I’ve decided there are going to be some people invited on the bus and some people just aren’t going to be invited on the bus."

Yes. Also too, in an age of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
