I didn't watch the Battle of the Half-Wits last night but the pre-game show says everything about today's GOP:
Probably a tossup between the KKK and the JBS as the oldest or most powerful segregationist hate group in our country, but the Oath Keepers are certainly in contention for the kookiest and brook no rival in capitalizing on the rage and paranoia of fringe right rubes. In Greenville, South Carolina tonight, five presidential contenders will meet for the first GOP presidential primary debate. According to the official program of the pre-debate “Freedom Rally,” is sponsored by several extremist groups, including the Oath Keepers militia group and the radical anti-communist John Birch Society. You can see a picture of the program here.Seriously. All that was missing from this gathering of Hatriots was the KKK. Maybe they don't have the money. But plenty of dough in the pockets of the Birchers, who are in essence the rich man's version of our white cloaked Supremists.

Oath Keepers are total scum from my experience. I applied for a job with one, and used a certificate from a bible studies course that I had taken as one of my attachments. It was done in person, and the shop owner who talked about being a big Oath Keeper asked if he could take it for awhile to copy. Guess what, he never did return it, and I went by the store several times asking for it. Funny thing, I had another, which certifies me to teach bible studies, luckily I didn't offer that one. Out there in scum land, is a piece of scum with a certificate he's changed to his name that certifies him as a graduate of Disciple Studies. It's a lie, and theft on the side.
Yikes. What a cad.
