GOP Fools and Ghouls

I don't usually link to Politico but this was an amusing find and for a change based on an actual document. They obtained a GOP fundraising presentation that was full of interesting power points, including fooling the rubes into donating by playing on their fears and playing the big donors by stroking their egos with offers of access and "tchotches." Did a longer post here but I'll repeat my money line, "Notably missing from their fundraising strategy is any attempt to raise funds based on their accomplishments." In other news, disgusting GOP vote of the day 153 House Republicans voted no on H.R. 4247, the Preventing Harmful Restraint and Seclusion in Schools Act. This would suggest they are objectively in favor of schoolchildren being "tied up, drugged, or isolated in order to discipline them." Thankfully the bill passed despite their knee-jerk obstructionism.

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney thinks if you're uninsured that emergency room treatment is free. Maybe I could send him my bill. I'm still paying it off.
