The Born Identity

Birthers beware. Yes, I'm looking at you Lou Dobbs. This is why Jon Stewart was recently voted in some totally unscientific poll as the new most trusted journalist in America.

Think about that for a moment. The most informative news program on teevee is hosted by Comedy Central. And yet they wonder why *serious* journalism is dying.

Interesting how the "birther" hoax was eviscerated on his show, but he still brings it up -- Fox style -- as a controversy.

Hilariously, I received two copies of a humorous AP release from last April Fools day that's now making the rounds as "proof" that Obama is an Indonesian.

I've never seen such desperation about anything in all my life -- or such abject stupidity.

It really does seem to be an odd thing to focus on. It's just so nutty.

They've run out of legitimate criticism, so this is what they've turned to.

What's most amusing, many of them think they're getting back at us for having mentioned things about George. Remember when it was treason to criticize a "warpresident?"

I'm often struck by the similarity between what we were saying about Bush and what they now say about Obama. Of course, we had the added benefit of our complaints being based in reality, but that's never been an issue with the GOPer nuts.
