Steele grovels before the mighty Rushbo
It's gone beyond amusing into the utterly pathetic. Steele, facing a barrage of critisism from every wingnut with an audience meekly prostated himself before the mighty blowhard and apologized for calling Limbaugh a malevolent gasbag. Okay so I paraphased a little, but that was the essence. In any event, it's clear that Limbaugh really is the defacto leader of the GOP now.
The Republicans apparently intend to bypass the wilderness and follow their revered rage jockey straight into the wasteland. It's almost too easy. I'm suddenly wondering if they are really that clueless or if it's some kind of trick?

Jeffraham, that's hilarious.
Certainly many of his followers are that clueless. In years of dealing with the trollery, I've yet to see anything like the demented frenzy of these Limbaughers -- the vicious racist threats, the belief that the majority of Americans are some kind of lunatic fringe and strong hints that Jews, blacks and Mexicans need to be "dealt with."
Even the one true Republican maverick, Ron Paul, will only criticize him in bland and guarded terms. They are all terrified of his power.
Reminds me very, very much of the process by which Hitler rose to power and we may just have to deal with him as a candidate before long.
Keep the powder dry.
Funny, I watched about two minutes of his speech before nausea overcame me and that was my first impression. OMG, the creep wants to run for president himself.
