All the headlines in the major papers are really negative about Obama. Think they're pissed off because he "broke protocol" at the last presser and didn't treat them like royalty?

My favorite was Achenblog, really did a number on Fox coverage. see http://cabdrollery.blogspot.com/2009/03/faux-channel-gets-pwnd.html
Good post Ruth.
Maybe, and of course most of the media is financed by advertising from big business and much of it (Fox) is owned by right wing cranks.
That too Fogg, but they seemed to have amped it up after the presser.
I'm almost looking forward to the demise of the print media. They've started wars, given us prohibition, elected cretins and corrupted justice just as much as vice versa.
Almost. Like everything else, they're all about entertainment and sales. Truth is too boring.
I think we need an independent media badly. But what we have now has certainly outlived its usefulness. I'm afraid of what would happen if it dies altogether, but I'm just as worried about what will happen if they don't.
It's sad really. I used to read a mimimum of three papers a day, usually five. And found different news in all of them. Now, pretty much none of them are worth more than a quick glance to see what the absurd outrage of the day is.
