McCain's health care scam
Paul Krugman finds his inner snark. From the current issue of Contingencies, the magazine of the American Academy of Actuaries, McCain on "the wonders of market-based health reform."
"Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation."That's the first true statement to escape McCain's lips in months now. So McCain, who now poses as the scourge of Wall Street, was praising financial deregulation like 10 seconds ago — and promising that if we marketize health care, it will perform as well as the financial industry!

If he does that, nurses will strike. I swear to fucking god we'll all just march right out of every fucking hospital on the continent.
Or better yet, we'll stay on the job but we won't do any paperwork for a couple weeks.
Hey shrimplate. I'm glad to hear that people are getting angry enough to fight back. I'm afraid it's going to come to that if Goddess forbid, the deceitful duo makes it into office.
By the way, I LOVE your blog.
