Best of the Weblogs

The Impolitic isn't in the race this year. It was fun being a finalist and politicking last time around but I really don't have time to chase the brass ring this year and there are weightier issues to address, so many of them that no one can get to them all on any given day. My group blog Newshoggers is in contention though. We were briefly listed as finalists in the Best Political Blog category but due to some last minute shuffling at the contest end, a handful of blogs were bumped from the major categories into ecosystem slots. We were one of them.

I don't plan on doing any politicking for this one or to give any endorsements except for this one time to urge you to vote for Bubblehead who was one my rivals last year. He's a rightwinger, but a a nice guy and we developed a relationship as friendly adversaries last time. He made the whole experience much more fun.

Meanwhile, if you feel like voting for Newshoggers, you can cast your vote here but really it would do us more good if you just visited the blog and clicked on our advertiser links or buy our schwag as Christmas presents. We might get some beer money out of that for the endless hours we put into this blogging thing.
