Hey, I'm a finalist for the Weblog Awards
This is unexpected. I nominated myself on a whim, when I ran across the post at Memeorandum a while back that was asking for nominees. I plugged into several categories with no expectation of getting any further since the big blogs always win these things. I never went back to see how I was doing but I suspect the category I made finalist in, may not have had more than ten nominations. Anyway, I'm more excited than I thought I would be about it as I now get to put the cool logo on my sidebar. So here's the list from Wizbang.Best of the Top 2501 - 3500 Blogs
VikingSpirit BlogThe only other one I've heard of is mAss Backwards which I've read a couple of times, although I don't remember how I got there. I think it's a Boston blog and it might be conservative. Anyway, the voting starts tomorrow and I'm hoping not to come in last. I'll update tomorrow with a link to where you can vote if you so choose.

Is that true or are you taking advantage of a gullible blogger? If it is true, how come you never pimp your blog, at least with an ID on the name?

Lester, I can never tell when you're joking or not. Sometimes you're so inscrutable, you remind me of my old boss.
