Just rewards

Katherine Harris is finding there's no honor among these thieves, having been virtually stabbed in the back by the White House when Rove met with another candidate for the Senate seat she wants as payback for her "fine work" in 2000 for Team Bush.

"It's unimaginable that the White House folks and the National Republican Senatorial Committee would be so disloyal to Katherine Harris, especially after all she has done for the Bush family and the Republican Party," a Florida political operative who supports Harris said. "It's unconscionable and a stab in the back."
Whatever they owe her, they don't need her anymore and Bush loyalists grumble that she would be too polarizing a candidate. Quote of the day goes to a supporter who protests, "Polarizing can be a plus."

God knows these folks have got it down to an art.
