Asleep at the switch

So let me see if I got this right. Reid offers Specter a sweet deal to switch to the Dems. He gets to keep his senority. The party essentially underwrites his campaign, saving him from certain defeat in a GOP primary and protecting him from Democratic primary challengers. And what do the Dems get in return? Apparently nothing.

For the love of all that is holy, can somebody please find some credible primary challenger to Harry? When you look at his tenure on the balance, he might as well have a freaking R after his name too.

The latest is, Specter's losing all his seniority, and the pork-barrel electoral clout that goes with it. (See link I left in the Prejean post.)As I suggested last week, sucker him in, set him up, knock him down, vote him out. Let's hope PA Gov. Rendell is in on it, and backs the Dem Congressman who was supposed to get the Senate seat. Keystoners are fed up with the 'Pukes, and deserve better. And we need to start cleaning out all the DINOs.

I saw that last night. Ha! I also was wondering if that wasn't the plan. To just knock him out of the Senate altogether. But he may actually end up voting with the Dems to try to get his seniority back too. Looks like a brilliant move now.

See the post above to vote for change. Looks like the progressives are on the case. We need to show Sestak that we'll support him.
