Media madness on taxes

Sometimes I post a graphic here so I can use it for a longer post at Detroit News. It's the simplest way for me to size and position it on their platform. So I'm posting this graph here for that reason, even though I know you readers don't need educating on why the faux outrage on Obama's tax plan is so bogus.

Of course, it's still worth reading Media Matters' piece about the media manipulation on the issue. A good point that doesn't get made enough is all Obama is proposing is to let the cuts for the top 2% expire, as they were intended to do all along, and more especially that the GOP's media cheerleaders who are leading the carping are all making multi-million dollar annual salaries. Hardly disinterested observers.

Most of the whining is coming from the petty bourgeoisie. Maybe it's Fox poisoning, maybe it's just stupidity, maybe both, but my local paper is flooded with letters screaming about creeping Socialism because of things that were deemed conservative when Democrats weren't in power.

None seem to have any grasp whatever on the facts.

It's hopeless.

Well, the whiners are hopeless for sure. My trolls at DetNews are reduced to calling me names. Calling for investigations even. They're convinced I'm an undercover operative for MoveOn or Soros or something.

What's so astounding is these idiots aren't even rich. I doubt seriously any of them make more than 80K a year. I suspect the loudest ones probably make about 40K or so.
